Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the Player-of-the-Match award for his four-wicket haul in the final of the T20 World Cup 2026 against New Zealand in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The pacer extended his wicket tally to 14 in the tournament to finish as the leading wicket-taker, level with compatriot Varun Chakaravarthy.

Marlon Samuels of West Indies is the only player to have won the award twice, in 2012 and 2016. The award has gone to a player of the winning side on each of the 10 occasions.
