Abhishek Sharma scores 18-ball fifty in India vs New Zealand T20 World Cup 2026 final


Indian opener Abhishek Sharma smashed an 18-ball fifty during the T20 World Cup 2026 final against New Zealand in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

The 25-year-old smashed six fours and three sixes to put early pressure on the Kiwis in the summit clash.

Abhishek’s fifty is the joint-third fastest in T20 World Cups and the fastest in a knockout game in the tournament.

Among Indians, only Yuvraj Singh has scored a faster fifty than Abhishek in T20 World Cups.

Abhishek was eventually dismissed for 52 by Rachin Ravindra.
