Sarvam AI announced that it will no longer be limited to just AI tools, but is also venturing into hardware manufacturing. The company’s first hardware product will be Sarvam Kaze AI Smart Glasses, which is being described as an ‘AI First’ device. These smart glasses will be launched in India in May, although the exact launch date has not been revealed yet.
Features of Sarvam Kaze AI Smart Glasses
According to the teaser, Sarvam Kaze will come in black color and it has two cameras. With the help of these cameras, users will be able to do video recording, photo capture and ask visual based questions to the AI assistant. An LED indicator is also visible on the front, which can show the recording status.
These AI glasses will have an inbuilt microphone and speaker system, through which users will be able to ask questions directly by giving voice commands and get real-time responses.
According to company co-founder Pratyush Kumar, this device ‘listens, understands, responds and captures what the user sees.’
Sarvam claims that users will also be able to create custom AI experiences for it, because it will be integrated with the company’s AI platform. The special thing is that Sarvam Kaze has been designed and developed in India only. Kumar also told that PM Modi was the first to try this device.
Sarvam Kaze AI Smart Glasses can prove to be a big step for Indian AI and hardware innovation, which will further strengthen India’s presence in the global tech market.
