So that the loss can be compensated without dispute.

Blocking road to demand compensation due to lack of information is a crime
Advocate Arun Kumar Ojha said that according to the rules, it is mandatory to get insurance for all types of vehicles. The main objective of vehicle insurance is to ensure financial compensation for the loss caused to the vehicle and the people in it at the time of an accident. He said that if the vehicle is properly insured then there is no need for any kind of violence or road blockage to get compensation after the accident. He said that due to lack of information, many times people block the road demanding compensation, which is wrong as per law. Due to road jam, ambulances, school buses and other essential services are affected. In such a situation, an FIR can also be registered by the police, which may further increase the problems of the people concerned.

The insurance company compensates for the damage caused to the vehicle under first party insurance.
He said that driving a vehicle without third party insurance is a punishable offence. The biggest advantage of third party insurance is that in case of an accident, the insurance company compensates for the damage caused to another person or vehicle. This provides relief to the driver to a great extent from heavy financial burden and legal action. He told that generally there are three types of vehicle insurance. First party, second party and third party insurance. Under first party insurance, the insurance company compensates for the damage caused to the vehicle in an accident or collision. Apart from this, if the vehicle is stolen then the amount is given according to the insured declared value of the vehicle. This insurance also provides protection against damage to the vehicle due to natural calamities or man-made incidents such as riots, strikes or vandalism. Besides, it also includes personal accident insurance for the driver up to Rs 15 lakh.

Get vehicle insurance done with necessary documents, there will be no problem in claim.
Second party insurance is actually for the insurance company. Which provides financial and legal security to the vehicle owner through an insurance policy. He said that in simple language, the insurance company works like a security shield for the vehicle owner. Which helps in protecting from financial and legal risks associated with accidents. Advocate Arun Kumar Ojha appealed to the people to get insurance along with all the necessary documents while driving and follow the legal procedure in case of an accident. With the right information and awareness, not only disputes can be avoided, but appropriate compensation can also be easily obtained after the accident.

In third party insurance, the insurance company compensates the loss of the other party.
Under third party insurance, the damage caused to the person or vehicle in front which is damaged in the accident is compensated. Under this insurance, the treatment expenses of the person injured in the accident and the loss of property are compensated by the insurance company. The vehicle owner is also protected from huge legal expenses and compensation claims in case of serious accidents. However, this insurance does not cover damage or theft caused to the vehicle owner’s own car or bike, whereas first party and second party insurance also covers other types of damage to the car and bike including theft.
