According to the report of WABetaInfo, this feature is currently available for some Android and iOS beta users. Through guest chats, users can generate a special link, which can be shared with any person. As soon as the person clicks on the link, he or she is directly added to the chat and can send and receive messages.
The special thing about this feature is that it will also provide end-to-end encryption, due to which the chat will remain secure. A unique ID is created for every guest user, through which encryption is done. This maintains the privacy of the user.

However, guest chats also have some limitations. Facilities like group chat, photo-video sharing, documents, GIF, stickers and voice messages will not be available in it. Apart from this, the option of voice and video calling will also not be available. That means this feature is designed only for basic text messaging.
Users can share this link through SMS, email or any other app. Also, if needed, the guest user can also be blocked.
Another special thing is that this chat does not last forever. If there is no activity for 10 days, the chat automatically expires and then a new link has to be created.
It would not be wrong to say that this new feature of WhatsApp can prove to be very useful for those people who want to talk to someone quickly without installing the app.
