KKR Limited Edition of Vida VX2 Plus launched in Indian market, know the price and features

KKR Limited Edition of VIda VX2 Plus has been launched in India. Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand Vida in partnership with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has introduced this special edition, which is an attractive offer for fans before the IPL 2026 season.

It is based on the standard VX2 Plus variant, but gets some updates including KKR themed styling. The price is around ₹1.16 lakh (ex-showroom, including PM E-Drive subsidy), which is around ₹21,000 more than the standard model. This will be available in limited numbers. This edition is inspired by KKR’s signature night purple and gold colors. The pearl black base color has a golden halftone gradient and micro dotted patterns, which integrates across the body panels. There are three different accent marks symbolizing KKR’s three IPL titles (2012, 2014, 2024).

KKR logo, limited edition badge and matching KKR themed helmet have also been introduced. The design is youthful and sporty, featuring clean surfaces, sleek profile and LED headlamps with integrated turn indicators. This styling will attract fans, but there are no major changes mechanically.

Features and Specifications

The VX2 Plus KKR Edition keeps the features of the standard VX2 Plus. It has a 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, connected technology, USB-A charging port, all LED lighting and three riding modes (Eco, Ride, Sport). Braking is good with front disc brake and rear drum brake. The removable battery system is convenient for apartment dwellers.

It includes KKR themed exclusive touches like special graphics and badges. The weight and dimensions of the scooter are the same as the standard model. It is designed for young riders, with good storage space and comfortable seating. Top speed goes up to 80 kmph.

Battery, Motor and Range

It is equipped with a 3.4 kWh removable battery pack (two 1.7 kWh batteries). The powertrain consists of a direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor with 6 kW (about 8.04 bhp) peak power. The IDC certified range is 142 km (about 100 km in real world) and it completes 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 3.1 seconds. Full charge from home charger takes about 4 hours 13 minutes, whereas from fast charger (public network) 0-80% is done in just 60 minutes. Battery warranty is up to 5 years.
