Klaasen attempted to heave Romario Shepherd into the leg-side in the 13th over of the innings, and was caught by Phil Salt with the Englishman very close to the rope.
Salt completed a tumbling catch close to the rope and rolled away from cushion upon completing it. The on-field umpires sent the catch up for referral to the third umpire to check its legitimacy.
Upon review, Salt’s backside appeared to be close to the rope as he completed the catch. However, the third umpire Rohan Pandit ruled the catch to be clean, and an unhappy Klaasen was forced to depart.
