Apple users alert! Government issues big security warning, update immediatelyZoom

Millions of Apple users in danger? Know what needs to be done

CERT-In has issued a high-severity security warning for Apple users. In this advisory issued on March 26, 2026, it has been told that many dangerous vulnerabilities have been found in devices like iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. By taking advantage of these vulnerabilities, hackers can steal sensitive data of users or gain control over the device, which increases the risk of cyber attacks.

According to CERT-In, these flaws are present in different parts of Apple’s software and operating system. Attackers can use them to run dangerous code, bypass system security, and gain access. Apart from this, these vulnerabilities can also cause problems like data leak, denial of service (DoS) attack and system crash.

The special thing is that the presence of many CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) shows that major attacks can be carried out by combining different flaws.

There is more danger on these devices

This problem is especially seen in those devices which are running on older software versions. This includes older versions of iOS and iPadOS, older versions of macOS Tahoe, macOS Sequoia, macOS Sonoma, Safari, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS and Apple Xcode. This means that many devices from iPhone to Apple Vision Pro can fall prey to this threat.

CERT-In has advised users to immediately update all their Apple devices to the latest software version. Apart from this, download apps only from official app stores, avoid clicking on suspicious links and keep taking regular backup of your important data. Installing updates on time is the easiest and most effective way to avoid these threats.
