Surprise for Pixel 10 users! Steam games now in your pocket

A new and interesting feature has emerged for Google Pixel 10 users. Now you can play Steam PC games directly on your phone. This has been possible because of a new update to an emulator named GameNative, which now supports the Pixel 10 hardware better. The biggest change in version 0.9.0 of GameNative is that it now supports the PowerVR GPU used in the Pixel 10’s Tensor chip.

Earlier, most emulators were made for Snapdragon’s Adreno GPU, due to which games did not run properly on Pixel phones. But now this problem has gone away to a great extent.

However, this feature is not completely perfect yet. You will not be able to run all PC games smoothly. For now, lighter games like Stardew Valley and Hades have been tested on it and run fine. In heavy games, problems like lag, crash or frame drop may still occur.

If you want to try it, you will have to install the GameNative app manually. It is not available on Google Play Store, so you will have to download its APK file from GitHub. After installation, you can play games by connecting your Steam account.

What else is new in the new update?
Some additional features have also been provided in this update, such as new user interface, better navigation, Steam Workshop support and battery temperature tracking. With this you can keep an eye on the heating of the phone while playing games for a long time.

If you connect the phone to a bigger screen and use keyboard-mouse, then the gaming experience can be even better. This feature takes mobile gaming to a new level, but it should still be considered in the development stage.
