Less power, more cooling: See the price and features of Whirlpool’s new refrigerator
Whirlpool has launched its new ‘No Tension Refrigerators’ in India, which are specially designed to reduce everyday hassles. These single door refrigerators are for those people who are troubled by the hassle of repeatedly accumulating ice and cleaning it. This new range includes the VitamagicPro and IMPRO PLUS models.
The biggest feature of these fridges is 6th Sense IntelliFrost Technology. This technology automatically recognizes when too much ice is accumulating in the fridge and then defrosts it automatically. This means that now you will not need to close the fridge or remove ice by hand. This will save time and also reduce hard work.
Apart from this, different cooling modes are provided in these fridges. With the help of FlexiCool feature, you can set the cooling to low, medium or high as per your need. If you need ice quickly then the Fast Forward Ice feature comes in handy, which prepares ice in less than two hours. At the same time, Eco Mode helps in reducing power consumption, especially when the use of the refrigerator is less.
To keep the food fresh for a long time, the company has provided Microblock technology, which reduces the growth of bacteria. In IMPRO PLUS model, food can remain fresh for about 15 days, whereas in Vitamagic model, freshness remains for 12 days. Zeolite technology is also available in Vitamagic, which prevents fruits and vegetables from spoiling quickly.
What is the capacity and price?
These fridges will be available in capacities ranging from 192 liters to 274 liters and will come with energy ratings ranging from 2-star to 5-star. Their starting price has been kept at ₹ 17,700. Overall, these fridges are a good option for those who want better cooling and more convenience with less effort.
