X Down: From login to feed stalled, thousands of users upset! How to fix?

On Thursday, social media platform Users in many countries including India faced the problem of X down. According to Downdetector, at one time more than 5,400 people had reported this problem on X. The reason for this outage was not immediately clear and no official statement came from the company. Many users also complained about this on social media, some users asked questions by tagging Elon Musk while someone linked it to WrestleMania weekend.

However, this problem was not resolved very soon and the company did not even issue any official statement regarding this problem. Due to this, the dissatisfaction of the users seemed to be increasing further. According to the report of Hindustan Times, many users informed that after some time the service was fine again. The number of complaints on Downdetector also dropped to around 2,700–2,800, indicating that the platform gradually returned to normal.

People reacted when X was down

Many users also gave different reactions to this problem. One user wrote, “Twitter was down for a while, blame Elon Musk if my tweets were posted multiple times.” Another user asked, “Was Twitter down for a few minutes?” According to Downdetector, most people faced problems with the app, some had problems with the feed/timeline and some had trouble operating the website. The impact was also seen in cities like Seattle and New York in the outage map.

What should users do when X is down?

First of all, check your internet connection, update the app and clear the cache of the app and try to login again. However, if the problem is happening to many people simultaneously, then it could also be a technical problem from the company’s side, in such a situation it is better to wait for some time.

A few days ago, X also faced technical issues, where many users complained that posts were not loading and the platform was not working properly.

According to Downdetector, complaints of problems related to the app, feed/timeline and website had increased at that time. Also, many people on social media had come forward about X being down. According to Mint report, analysts say that it is normal to have temporary problems sometimes during such major technical changes, especially when the platform provides service on a large scale.
