Motorola Edge 70 Pro is coming to compete with Samsung, price and features created a stir

Expanding its Edge lineup, Motorola is going to launch the new Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India. This smartphone will be part of the new series along with Motorola Edge 70 launched last year. The company has not yet revealed its complete specifications officially, but a lot of information has come to light through leaks, rumors and teasers.

The microsite of the phone has also gone live and Motorola has started teasing many of its special features. There is a lot of discussion especially about AI-powered low-light photography, camera features, performance and color options.

Color options of Motorola Edge 70 Pro
According to the company, this smartphone will be launched in India in three color options – Lily White, T and Titan. Different finishes can be seen in these three variants. The T variant is expected to have Satin Lux finish, while the Titan variant may come with fabric finish. Whereas marble finish can be seen in Lily White variant, which will give it a premium look.

Possible features of Motorola Edge 70 Pro
According to leaks, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor can be given in this phone. It is expected to have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The phone can have a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which will have an adaptive refresh rate up to 144Hz. The peak brightness of the display can go up to 5,200 nits, due to which the screen will be clearly visible even in bright sunlight. You can also get the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Talking about the battery, it can be provided with a 6,500mAh silicon carbon battery, which will support 90W TurboPower fast charging.

This smartphone can come with Hello UI based on Android 16 and it will also have Moto AI feature. There is also a possibility of getting 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

Triple rear camera setup can be found in Motorola Edge 70 Pro, which can include 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultrawide lens and 10MP telephoto sensor. A 50MP front camera can be provided for selfie and video calling.

Launch date and price
The company has confirmed that Motorola Edge 70 Pro will be launched in India on April 22. Customers will be able to buy it from Flipkart, Motorola e-store and offline retail stores. According to initial reports, its starting price may be around Rs 31,999, although the company has not yet disclosed the official price.
