Vivo has increased the prices of many of its smartphones in India. Now many popular models of the company have become costlier by Rs 1,000 to Rs 4,000. These new prices have come into effect from April 21. According to reports, rising component costs, supply chain problems and changes in foreign exchange could be the major reasons for this.

The biggest effect has been seen on Vivo T5x. The price of all variants of this phone has been increased by Rs 4,000. Now its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available for Rs 22,999, which was earlier Rs 18,999. Whereas the 8GB + 128GB model is now available for Rs 24,999 and the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for Rs 26,999.

The price of Vivo V70 has also increased. Its 8GB + 256GB variant is now available for Rs 55,999, which was earlier Rs 51,999. Whereas the 12GB + 256GB model is now priced at Rs 59,999. There has also been an increase of Rs 4,000 on Vivo V70. Its 8GB + 256GB model is now selling for Rs 49,999 and 12GB + 256GB variant for Rs 53,999.

Vivo’s Y series prices also increased
Y series phones also did not lag behind this. The 8GB + 128GB model of Vivo Y400 is now available for Rs 28,999 and the 8GB + 256GB model for Rs 31,999. At the same time, the price of Vivo Y51 Pro has also increased to Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999.

The price of Vivo Y31 5G has also increased. Its 4GB + 128GB variant is now available for Rs 19,999, while the 6GB + 128GB model is available for Rs 23,999.

According to the tipster, smartphone prices may increase further in the coming months. Especially phones with new processors like Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 can go above Rs 50,000. If you are thinking of buying a new Vivo smartphone, then now you may have to keep more budget ready than before.
