New feature of WhatsApp, chats will be available on the screen without opening the app, reply will be easy

WhatsApp may soon change the way of chatting for Android users. According to reports, the company is bringing a new ‘Notification Bubbles’ feature, through which chats can be easily accessed without opening the app. This feature is still in the development stage and is not currently available for testing, but it may be introduced in an upcoming update.

With the help of this new feature, WhatsApp chats will appear as floating icons on the screen. That means, if you are using any other app and at the same time a message comes on WhatsApp, then you will not need to change the app. A small bubble will appear on the screen, by tapping on which you will be able to answer immediately.

This feature will be much like ‘Chat Heads’ of Facebook Messenger. The sender’s profile photo and a small icon of WhatsApp can be visible in the bubble. On clicking this, a small chat window will open, from where users can reply quickly. With this, there will be no need to open WhatsApp again and again and multitasking will become easier.

According to the report, this feature will be based on Android’s notification system. Especially in Android 11 and above versions, it will work better. Older Android versions may require the ‘Draw Over Other Apps’ permission, so it’s possible that WhatsApp may limit it to supported devices only.

This feature will not be available for iPhone users, because notification bubbles are not supported in iOS. Therefore, at present this facility is being brought only for Android users.

This new feature of WhatsApp can prove to be very useful for those people who use multiple apps simultaneously and want to respond to messages immediately. This will make chatting even faster, easier and smarter.
