Choosing the right AC in summer? It is very important to know this difference
As soon as the summer season arrives, the need for AC is felt the most in the house. While buying a new AC, the biggest question before people is whether to buy Inverter AC or Convertible AC. Both are made to save power and provide better cooling, but their way of working is different. With correct information, you can choose the best AC according to your room and budget.
Inverter AC is such an AC which automatically increases or decreases its cooling power according to the need of the room. In this, the compressor does not stop and start completely again and again, rather its speed keeps changing. When the room cools down to the prescribed temperature, the AC starts running at lower power.
This keeps the temperature stable, saves electricity and also reduces noise. This is the reason why inverter AC is considered good for bedrooms or such rooms where continuous comfortable coolness is required.
Whereas Convertible AC works a little differently. In this, the user himself can change the cooling capacity i.e. tonnage. For example, if there are more people in the room or it is too hot, you can run it on higher power mode. If there are less people in the room, you can save electricity by choosing a lower cooling mode. That means you get more control in this.
Who saves electricity?
If we talk about saving electricity, then both ACs are considered good. Inverter AC automatically controls power consumption, whereas in Convertible AC you have to change the settings yourself. Therefore, if you want to save electricity without much effort, then Inverter AC can be a better option.
On the other hand, if your room is such where the number of people keeps changing frequently, like a drawing room or hall, then Convertible AC can be more beneficial.
The simple thing is that if you want quiet, consistent and automatic cooling then go for Inverter AC. But if you want to control the cooling as per your need, then Convertible AC will be better. By making the right choice, you will get comfort in summer and your electricity bill will also be less.
