How to check fake SIM in your name?

The government has created Sanchar Saathi Portal for this. This is a completely free and safe method.

How to check in step by step manner:

1. Open the browser on your mobile or computer and type sanchar.sathi.gov.in or sancharsaathi.gov.in.
2. Select the option ‘Know Your Mobile Connections’ or ‘Connected Mobile Numbers’.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha.
4. OTP will come, enter it.
5. All the mobile numbers registered in your name will be visible on the screen.
6. If you see any stranger number which you have never received, then immediately select the option of ‘Report Fraud’ or ‘Block Connection’ on the same portal.

Process to block fake SIM

• Go to the ‘CEIR’ (Central Equipment Identity Register) section on the portal itself.
• File a complaint about fake number.
• Upload the required documents (Aadhaar, photo).
• Within a few hours that number gets blocked.
