Jacob Bethell: 1/10 – Bethell played a few attractive strokes to get RCB off to a quick start but fell before he could kick on (15 from 12 balls; two fours, one six).
Devdutt Padikkal (Impact Player): 5/10- RCB’s number three stitched a partnership with Virat Kohli to help RCB march ahead in the chase (39 off 27 balls, 7 fours).
Rajat Patidar: 3/10- The RCB captain’s stay lasted only eight deliveries (11 off 8 balls, 1 six).
Jitesh Sharma: 4/10- Jitesh came out to bat when RCB was on the verge of victory and scored the winning runs (8 off 5 balls, 1 four).
Tim David: 3.5/10- A stunning catch from Manish Pandey brought the end to David’s short stay in the middle (2 off 3 balls).
Krunal Pandya: 4/10- Krunal had a tough night with the ball, going wicketless and going for runs (0/39 from four).
Rasikh Salam: 6.5/10- The J and K pacer picked the crucial wicket of Cameron Green when the Australian was well-set and looking to accelerate (1/35 from four).
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: 8.5/10- Bhuvneshwar was the pick of the bowlers for RCB tonight, dismissing Allen in the PowerPlay and conceding only nine runs in the final over in the first innings (1/34 from four).
Josh Hazlewood: 8/10- The Australian started strongly, removing KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane in the PowerPlay but was expensive in the death overs (1/35 from four).
Jacob Duffy: 1/10- Duffy was brought in to strengthen the bowling attack but the Kiwi failed to make an impact tonight. Duffy leaked runs, and was the only bowler from the RCB bowling unit who went at more than 10 rpo (0/48 from his four)
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS
Ajinkya Rahane: 2/10 – The Kolkata Knight Riders skipper started his innings with a flurry of boundaries before skying a return catch to Josh Hazlewood (19 from 13 balls; three fours, one six).
Finn Allen: 3.5/10 – Allen got the innings off to a quick start with a three fours and a six before nicking off to Bhuvneshwar Kumar (18 from eight; three fours, one six).
Angkrish Raghuvanshi: 5.5/10 – Raghuvanshi led the way for KKR with a well-paced knock of 71 from 46 balls before getting run out off the final ball of the innings. (71 from 46 balls; seven fours, three sixes).
Cameron Green: 1.5/10 – Green played a handy knock in the middle overs, providing Raghuvanshi support and finding the boundaries to keep the scoring rate up. (32 from 24 balls; 3 fours, one six).
Rinku Singh: 6/10 – Rinku played a handy late-overs cameo to help KKR cross 190, utilising the bigger boundaries to run smartly between the wickets (49 not out from 29 balls; three fours, two sixes).
Sunil Narine: 7/10- The West Indian bowled an economical spell and took the wicket of RCB captain Rajat Patidar (1/31 from four)
Anukul Roy: 3/10- The left arm spinner had a night to forget, being taken down by the RCB batters (0/36 from three).
Vaibhav Arora: 2/10- Vaibhav was far from his best against RCB tonight, and was taken to the cleaners by the batters (0/48 from four)
Kartik Tyagi: 9.5/10- The top performer of the night in terms of impact. Kartik gave it his all, picking three wickets but it not quite prove to be enough as RCB secured a comfortable victory (3/32 from four).
Saurabh Dubey (Impact Player): 3.5/10- The debutant started well, troubling Jacob Bethell with his inch perfect length and seam movement, but struggled for rhythm thereafter (0/21 from 2.1 overs)
