3 The number of bowlers with 200-plus career wickets in the IPL. KKR’s Sunil Narine became the third bowler after Yuzvendra Chahal (230) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (220) to reach this milestone during his match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 3 May 2026. He, however, becomes the first non-Indian to achieve this in the IPL. However, what is unique about Sunil Narine is that he became the first to reach 200+ wickets while playing for just one franchise (KKR). The next best is Jasprit Bumrah, who has 186 wickets while playing for only Mumbai Indians.

5 The number of sides that have successfully chased targets of 250 or more in T20 cricket. Punjab Kings’ 265-4 against Delhi Capitals on 25 April 2026 is now the highest-ever successful run chase not only in IPL cricket but in all T20 cricket. Interestingly, Punjab Kings bettered its own record of 262, set in 2024 in Kolkata. This makes Punjab Kings the only side to achieve this feat on two separate occasions in T20 cricket history.
