Oppo has launched its new Reno 16 series smartphone in China. The company has also introduced Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro as well as Oppo Pad 6 tablet in this event. In this new series, special focus has been placed on design, camera and battery, due to which it seems to be a strong option in the mid-to-flagship segment.

Oppo Reno 16 series has been launched in three color options and variants up to 16GB RAM are available in it. Both smartphones come with triple rear camera setup, but the Pro model has a 200MP primary camera.

Both phones have a 50MP front camera, performance is based on MediaTek Dimensity chipset. It also comes with 5G and latest Android 16 based ColorOS 16 support. This series is especially for those users who give priority to both camera and performance.

Price and availability

The prices of Oppo Reno 16 series vary according to the variants:

Oppo Reno 16 starting price starts at around ₹49,000 (China)

The price of the top variant goes up to around ₹69,000

The starting price of Oppo Reno 16 Pro is around ₹63,000

The high-end variant of the Pro goes up to ₹74,000.

Both smartphones will be available for sale in China from May 29. Reno 16 will come in Galaxy Purple, Heartbeat and Moonlight Dark colors, while the Pro model will be available in Dream White and other premium shades.

This time Oppo has paid special attention to display quality. Both models have high-refresh rate and bright display.
