But in the last few days, scary news of AC blasts and fires have come to light from different parts of the country. After all, why is this machine that provides cold air suddenly becoming a cause of danger? Is rising temperature behind this or some of our small mistakes?

In this regard, AC technician Avinash Pandey has told some very important things and measures, by adopting which you can keep your family and home safe.

Running AC at 16-18 degrees may prove costly.
According to Avinash Pandey, when the outside temperature is around 45 degrees and you turn on the AC at 16 or 18 degrees to cool the room quickly, then there is a lot of load on the compressor of the machine. This increases the risk of the AC exploding. According to them, window ACs are more successful and safer.

This cleverness of local mechanic is becoming the reason for ‘blast’
The expert has made a very shocking revelation. He told that many times, in order to save money, local technicians mix LPG in the AC gas. LPG is highly flammable and due to this, explosions occur in ACs. Always get the work done by the authorized technician of the company. Keep in mind that only the correct gas like R32, R22 or R410A is filled in your AC.

Avoid renting AC
If you are bringing AC on rent to save money, then be careful. The chances of explosion are highest in rented ACs only. Actually, these are those old and junk ACs which people throw away and later they are repaired and given on rent.

Always keep these 4 things in mind:

• Keep the temperature correct: Always run the AC around 23 to 24 degrees. Also, do not run it continuously for many hours without a break, give the machine rest in between.
• Just switching it off with the remote is not enough: Whenever you switch off the AC, do not just switch it off with the remote, but also switch off the main switch on the wall.
• Be alert: If suddenly there is smoke, spark or burning smell from the AC, then immediately switch it off and call a mechanic.
• Regular servicing of AC: Also, it is important to take care of regular servicing of AC and AMC.
