What will be the difference between Samsung Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra? Answer found in leak, will get bigger camera module

Samsung can launch a new foldable smartphone series in its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event next month. Even before the launch, many important information has been revealed about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Now pictures and renders of both these foldable phones have been leaked on the internet, which have given a glimpse of their design.

According to the leaked report, Samsung may make a big change in its foldable lineup this time. Famous tipster Ice Universe has shared a picture on social media platform X, in which the Galaxy Z Fold 8 can allegedly be seen.

It has been claimed that a Samsung employee was using this phone. However, the device is covered with a special protective cover so that its original design remains hidden.

Dual camera setup is visible on the back of the phone, which is given in pill-shaped camera module. LED flash is also visible below the camera. According to reports, this could be Samsung’s first ‘wide-folding’ smartphone, which will offer a wider design than the earlier models.

Apart from this, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has also been seen in the leaked renders. There is a possibility of getting triple rear camera setup in this model. A center punch-hole selfie camera can be provided on the cover display of both the phones. In terms of design, both the devices look quite premium.

What can be the models?
It was also said in recent reports that Samsung may change the branding of its upcoming foldable phones. The devices which were earlier being called Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide and Galaxy Z Fold 8 can now be launched as Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra respectively.

At present, Samsung has not shared official information about these smartphones. But it is believed that the company can unveil these foldable phones in the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in July 2026. If the leaks prove to be true, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series could become Samsung’s most advanced and premium foldable smartphone lineup yet.
