Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch its new smartphone Redmi Turbo 5 in the Indian market soon. The company has already teased the design of the phone and now new information has come out regarding its launch date. According to a leaked poster, Redmi Turbo 5 can be launched in India on June 16.

Although the company has not yet officially confirmed the launch date, a promotional poster going viral on social media shows the date of June 16. Earlier, some reports had claimed that this phone will be launched on June 18.

In the leaked poster, Redmi Turbo 5 is also shown in white colour. At present the company had teased only the black color variant. In such a situation, there is a possibility that this smartphone will be made available to Indian customers in more than one color.

It is being told that Redmi 17 5G smartphone can also be launched along with Redmi Turbo 5. However, no official information has been given by the company in this regard.

A microsite for Redmi Turbo 5 has also gone live on Amazon, which confirms its online availability. Talking about design, the phone will have dual rear camera setup and LED flash. Its look will be quite similar to the model launched in China.

How will the specifications be?
Talking about the specifications, Redmi Turbo 5 launched in China has a 6.59 inch AMOLED display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. The peak brightness of the display goes up to 3500 nits.

The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor based on 4nm process. With this, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage is supported.
