This increase is important for those buyers who are thinking of buying a premium mid-range motorcycle. This new 350cc platform from Triumph and Bajaj was initially launched to take advantage of the lower GST slab, but the price increase within a few weeks of launch may put off many potential buyers. Let us know for how much which model can now be purchased?
Triumph 350cc range – new prices
- Speed 400: Increase of ₹2,000
- Speed T4: Increase by ₹4,000
- Scrambler 400XC: Increase by ₹5,000
- Thruxton 400: Increase by ₹5,000
There has been no change in the prices of Tracker 400 and Scrambler 400X yet.
Why did the price increase?
Triumph had shifted its entire 400 cc series to the new 350 cc engine earlier this year. The smaller engine benefited from lower GST, but the prices were not reduced proportionately at the time of launch. Now the company is making this hike to improve margins and maintain premium positioning.
Advice for users: If you want to buy early, you can talk to the dealer at the old price till the end of May 2026. Many dealers may also offer discounts on old pricing to clear the stock.
Triumph 350cc vs Competitors
This range of Triumph is still feature-packed. With liquid cooled engine, excellent suspension, premium finishing and strong performance. Compared to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Classic 350, Guerrilla 450 and Honda CB350 series, the Triumph offers a more refined and sportier experience. However, due to it being a bit expensive, budget-sensitive buyers will have to think.
Impact on Triumph sales
Triumph’s 350cc range sold 3,965 units in April 2026, accounting for 3.33% market share in the 350-450cc segment. Sales of the old 400cc models have declined sharply, which shows that the new 350cc platform is getting good response in the market. Overall, Triumph-Bajaj Group’s sales recorded a 22.32% annual growth.
Despite the price increase, the Triumph 350cc range remains an attractive option for riders who do not want to compromise on quality, style and performance. If your budget is a bit flexible and want a premium feel, then models like the Speed 400 or Scrambler 400XC can still prove to be value for money.
