The Bullet 650 has the muscular and upright stance of the classic Bullet. It has chrome-ringed headlamps, hand-painted pinstripes, metal badging, 19-inch front wheel and long peashooter exhaust. It gives a more rugged and traditional Bullet feel. On the other hand, the Classic 650 has a teardrop fuel tank, golden fenders and smooth body lines. It has a more retro cruiser look, with chrome accents and premium finishing. Both get wire-spoke wheels and LED lighting, but the Bullet looks more muscular.
Who is good in features?
Both the bikes have common features like dual-channel ABS, USB Type-C charging port, tripper navigation (optional), adjustable levers and LED headlamp-taillamp. Bullet 650 has been given classic touches like tiger-eye pilot lamps. The Classic 650 feels a little more premium, with better paint quality and chrome work. Both have a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch, which gives smooth shifting both in the city and on the highway.
Engine and Mileage
Both models are powered by the same 647.95 cc air-oil cooled parallel-twin engine, which produces 47 PS power @7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm torque @5650 rpm. The mileage of Bullet 650 and Classic 650 is almost the same. In real-world, one can get 20-22 kmpl in the city and 23-25 kmpl on the highway. Both give good range with 14.8 liter fuel tank. Due to its weight being around 243 kg, it feels heavy, but the torquey engine handles it easily.
Overall, if you like the muscular look of a traditional Bullet then go for the Bullet 650. Classic 650 is better for premium cruiser experience. Considering the price difference, Bullet 650 seems to be value for money. You can choose one of these two according to your choice and budget.
