OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its new budget smartphone OnePlus N6. The company has announced that this smartphone will be launched in India on June 30 at 12 noon. The special thing is that OnePlus N6 will be the first smartphone of the company’s new N series, which is being introduced with the aim of providing OnePlus experience to more and more customers.
Before the launch, the company has also shared the design of the phone and some important information. The design of OnePlus N6 looks quite similar to OnePlus Nord CE 6. A square shaped camera module is provided at the back of the phone, which has two camera sensors and an LED flash. The back panel will come with a flat design and OnePlus branding will be seen in the middle.
Power button and volume control button will be provided on the right side of the phone, while USB Type-C port, speaker grill and SIM tray will be available at the bottom. A center punch-hole display will be seen in the front, in which a selfie camera is installed. However, the bezels of the phone appear to be a bit thick.
How much can the price be?
The company has also confirmed that the OnePlus N series smartphones will be launched in India at a price range of ₹ 18,000 to ₹ 25,000. This means that this series will be cheaper than the existing OnePlus Nord smartphones. According to reports, the price of some models may be less than ₹ 20,000, making this series the company’s new offering in the budget segment.
OnePlus N6 will be offered in black and green color options. The smartphone will be sold through Amazon and other selected online platforms. The company says that the N series has been designed keeping in mind those customers who want a reliable experience of OnePlus at a low price.
At present, OnePlus has not shared information related to the processor, camera specification and battery of the phone. It is expected that the company will reveal all the features and price during the launch event. OnePlus N6 can prove to be an interesting phone for customers planning to buy a budget smartphone.
