Rohit Sharma became the fifth Indian player to complete 14,000 runs in List A cricket during the second ODI against Afghanistan at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Wednesday.

The former Indian captain has now joined Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid in the elite list.

Rohit reached his milestone in his 345th List A innings. Apart from the senior Indian team, Rohit has also represented India A, India Blue, India Green, India Red, Mumbai and West Zone in his career.

A total of 26 batters have scored more than 14,000 List A runs in ODI cricket history. Graham Gooch holds the record of most runs in List A cricket: 22,211.
