The new smartphone series ‘b’ will be the new entry point into the Nothing ecosystem, the company said. “The series is designed to deliver the core Nothing experience to a new generation of users. Phone (4b) represents the beginning of a new series and the beginning of a user’s journey into the Nothing ecosystem.”
Yesterday, Nothing’s co-founder and India President, Akis Evangelidis, explained the introduction and placement of the series B products. He said, “The B Series builds on the success of the A Series by expanding into a new segment, while maintaining a clear product hierarchy.”
In an X post he described, “The A Series has been our best-selling smartphone line, bringing the best of Nothing’s design innovation while focusing on the features that matter most. The A Series remains our most premium line below our flagship products, which doesn’t carry a letter designation. This avoids overusing suffixes and provides a clearer naming structure as the portfolio expands. Hope this is clear.”
Nothing Phone 4b is likely to run dual rear camera set up at the back, headed by a 50 MP shooter. It might get a 12 MP front lens for selfies.
Phone 4b is expected to run on a MediaTek chipset with a likely combination of up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It may ship with a 5,000 mAh battery, and probably no charger inside the box.
Nothing Phone 4b is likely to have a 6.7 inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Nothing Phone 4b is expected to launch in sub-₹25k price bracket in India.
