Apple Price Hike: Buying Apple products is expensive, prices have increased from MacBook to TV, how much is the price in India now?

New Delhi. Apple CEO Tim Cook had recently indicated that it is no longer possible to stop the current increase in product prices. Just a few days after his statement, the company has increased the prices of all its products in India. The company has increased prices in all categories of Apple’s desktop, MacBook, iPad, Apple TV and HomePod devices. The company says that due to increasing input costs in the global market, Indian products are also becoming expensive. The company has not yet increased the prices of iPhone, neither in India nor in any other country.

The company said that now the price of MacBook Air (512GB) will start at Rs 1,37,900, which till now used to start at Rs 1,19,900. This means that the price of this product has become costlier by about Rs 17 thousand. The company has also increased the price of entry level MacBook Neo to Rs 79,900, which was earlier Rs 69,900. Earlier the company had launched this product for Rs 59,900. Therefore, if seen from the launching price, till now it has increased by 33 percent i.e. 20 thousand rupees.

Prices of these products also increased
Apple has said that the cost of 13-inch MacBook Air with M5 has now become Rs 1,49,900, which is Rs 30 thousand more than its launching price of Rs 1,19,900. The price of its 15 inch variant is Rs 1,79,900, which was earlier Rs 1,44,900. The price of 14-inch MacBook Pro (M5, 16GB RAM) has reached Rs 2,39,900, which till now was Rs 1,69,900. This means that this product has become costlier by about Rs 70 thousand. However, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Max chip has become costlier by about Rs 1 lakh from its launching price, which is the highest price hike.

Big jump in small products
Apple has increased the price of 11-inch iPad Air (M4) to Rs 89,900, which was till now available for Rs 64,900. Apart from this, the price of iPad Pro (M5, 256GB) has increased to Rs 1,39,900, which was till now available for Rs 99,900. The company has also made its home entertainment products expensive. Apple TV 4K (64GB) is now priced at Rs 25,900, which was earlier Rs 14,900. Similarly, the price of 128 GB variant has become Rs 31,900, which was Rs 16,900. A tremendous jump of 89 percent is being seen in this. HomePod has also increased by Rs 32,900 to Rs 44,900, while the price of HomePod Mini has jumped from Rs 10,900 to Rs 15,900.

How much did it cost in America?
Along with making its products expensive in India, the company has also increased its prices in America. There, the price of 512 GB MacBook Air has increased to $1,299, which till now was available for $1,099. The price of MacBook Pro with 1 TB storage is now $ 1,999 in America, which was earlier $ 1,699. The price of 128 GB iPad Air has reached $749, which till now was sold for $599. There is also an increase in the prices of TV and Apple speakers here.
