An Indian man living in the United Kingdom (UK) shared a unique problem related to his recently purchased car on social media, which became a topic of discussion. During the current heatwave, he discovered that the car he had bought three months ago had no air conditioning (AC). When he tried to turn on the AC, there was no cooling. He told that there is no space to fit AC in his car.

Expressing surprise, he said that in India even old cars like Maruti 800 used to come with AC, but here this facility is missing in the basic model. This incident reflects the realities of the UK auto market, where many vehicles are sold without AC keeping in mind the cold weather. Amidst the increasing heat, it has become very difficult for the people there to travel in this type of vehicle.

According to HT report, Mukul Sharma lives in UK. He recently bought a car, but did not confirm whether it had AC or not while checking the specifications. The problem came to light when the temperature rose during the heatwave. Sharma told that there is no provision for installing AC in the car because no space was left in the factory design. He posted on social media and wrote, ’45 degrees Delhi seems different, but here even 33 degrees is difficult because buildings and cars are not ready for the heat.’
