Gold fell 1.7% to around $4,020 per ounce on Monday as uncertainty surrounding the upcoming US-Iran peace talks heightened inflation concerns and reinforced expectations that the US Federal Reserve could maintain a tighter monetary policy. The precious metal is on track for its fourth consecutive monthly decline, having lost more than 10% so far this month. Comex Silver declined by more than 1% in the previous session, settling below the $58 level. A stronger U.S. dollar index and a fragile trade deal continued to weigh on the white metal, keeping prices under pressure
WTI Crude Oil prices climbed above $70 per barrel, rebounding modestly from a four-month low as a decline in shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz offset broader market optimism. Market focus remains on geopolitical developments, with President Donald Trump announcing that the U.S. and Iran are scheduled to hold fresh peace talks in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday.

Naveen Gupta, Founder & CEO, Trev Mobility on Delhi’s New EV Policy and the Future of Shared Electric Mobility
Delhi’s new EV policy marks an important step towards accelerating the transition from conventional fuel-based mobility to cleaner, more sustainable transportation. The focus on incentives for electric vehicles, fleet electrification, and reducing dependency on traditional fuels reflects the growing need for a structural shift in how cities move.
For shared mobility, this transition is even more significant. Fleet operators are among the biggest contributors to urban mobility demand, and electrification of these fleets can create a meaningful impact on reducing emissions and improving air quality.
However, EV adoption in shared mobility is not only about bringing electric vehicles on roads. The success of this transition depends on building the right ecosystem around it, including charging infrastructure, vehicle utilisation models, driver adoption, financing support, and consumer confidence.
The next phase of EV mobility will require operators to think beyond just replacing an internal combustion engine vehicle with an electric one. It will be about creating reliable, convenient, and experience-led mobility solutions that make electric transport a natural choice for consumers.

BTC has reclaimed the $60K mark, with improving macro backdrop after the US agreed to meet with Iran, with talks set for today. While some headwinds remain, including ongoing outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs and expectations that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates elevated for longer, buyers are showing resilience. After a brief dip below $59.2K, they stepped in to push the price back above $60K. In the near term, $60.5K–$60.8K is the level to watch on the upside, while $60K is holding firm as solid support. A decisive break above resistance could open the door to further upside.

Expert Take | Market analysis | Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com
Bitcoin traded just below the key $60,000 mark on Tuesday and was changing hands around $59,800. Bitcoin tried to recover after last week’s sharp correction. However, it remained stuck in a range. Investors continued to watch the U.S. monetary policy outlook. They were also monitoring institutional demand. While selling pressure has moderated, the market is yet to find a strong catalyst for a sustained breakout.
From a technical perspective, Bitcoin continues to trade within a critical range. Immediate support is seen around $58,900–59,000, with the next major support near $58,000 if this level fails to hold. On the upside, $60,600–61,000 remains the first resistance zone. A decisive move above this zone could open the path toward $62,000–62,500. If Bitcoin fails to reclaim $61,000, the market may continue to consolidate. It could remain below the psychological $60,000 level.
Institutional flows remain mixed. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a modest net inflow of around $69 million on June 29, breaking a series of heavy outflows seen in the preceding sessions. While this may indicate that selling pressure is easing, institutional demand remains considerably weaker than earlier this year.
The broader macro environment continues to dictate market direction. Investors are closely monitoring upcoming U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve commentary ahead of the July 28–29 FOMC meeting.
The broader crypto market remained cautious. Ethereum traded near $1,590, BNB around $555, Solana near $74, and XRP around $1.05. Solana outperformed most large-cap peers over the past 24 hours, while the rest of the market largely mirrored Bitcoin’s sideways movement.
Our advice: The market remains driven by macroeconomic developments rather than crypto-specific catalysts. Investors should closely monitor Federal Reserve signals, U.S. economic data, and ETF flows over the coming weeks. Bitcoin needs to reclaim the $61,000–62,500 zone to strengthen the recovery. Institutional buying also needs to improve. Until then, a disciplined and staggered investment approach is the better strategy. Chasing short-term price movements may carry higher risk.

Expert take | Avinash Shekhar, Co-Founder & CEO, Pi42
“Bitcoin is trying to stabilised around the $60,000 mark as improving geopolitical sentiment, following the announcement of fresh U.S.-Iran talks, helped lift broader crypto markets. The rebound suggests that investors are responding positively to easing macro uncertainty, even as overall market participation remains measured.
Another notable development is the growing momentum around digital asset investment products. Continued interest in spot ETF inflows across major cryptocurrencies highlights that institutional engagement with the asset class remains intact, reinforcing the view that investors continue to look beyond short-term volatility and focus on long-term adoption.
For investors, the focus should remain on the quality of participation rather than daily price movements. As macro conditions stabilise and institutional interest continues, sustained buying demand will be the key factor in determining whether the current recovery can evolve into a broader upward trend.”

Expert View | Pre-Market | Gaurav Udani – Founder, Thincredblu
“Nifty is expected to open slightly higher around 23,965, up nearly 20 points, indicating a quiet start to the session.
With monthly expiry today, traders should be prepared for heightened volatility and sharp intraday swings, especially around key support and resistance levels. Expiry-driven position adjustments and option unwinding could amplify market moves.
Technically, 23,900–24,000 remains an important support zone, while 24,200–24,300 continues to act as the immediate resistance range. A breakout on either side is likely to dictate the next directional move.
Given the expiry setup, traders should avoid aggressive positions at the open and focus on disciplined, level-based execution.
Overall, expect a volatile session, with price action around key levels likely to provide the best trading opportunities.”

Markets ended Monday on a cautious note as escalating tensions in West Asia rattled investor confidence, sending the benchmark Nifty 50 below the psychologically critical 24,000 mark for the first time in recent sessions.
Profit booking in heavyweights across automobiles, IT and banking compounded the pressure, while a spike in market volatility signalled that traders are far from comfortable with the fragile geopolitical backdrop.
