For safety, the S-Presso is built on Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform and includes dual airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), hill hold assist and ABS. Its AMT variant gives the best mileage of up to 25.30 kmpl.

Renault Kwid: In this budget range, Kwid has been quite popular among the youth due to its stylish look and premium appeal. Currently its ex-showroom price starts at ₹ 4,29,900, which brings its base variant under ₹ 5 lakh. In terms of design, it looks like a mini crossover, which has LED DRLs, roof rails and excellent ground clearance. Its interior is quite spacious and it has a large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Talking about the engine, Kwid has a 999cc 3-cylinder petrol engine, which generates power of about 67 bhp and torque of 91 Nm. In terms of design, Tiago looks quite sporty and sharp, with Tata’s signature grille and muscular body lines. Its interior is of quite premium quality, with comfortable fabric seats, dual-tone dashboard and practical cabin layout, which is very comfortable for long trips.

Tata Tiago: It is counted among the strongest and safest cars in this segment, whose base variant (XE) is available at a starting price of around ₹ 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of design, Tiago looks quite sporty and sharp, with Tata’s signature grille and muscular body lines. Its interior is of quite premium quality, with comfortable fabric seats, dual-tone dashboard and practical cabin layout, which is very comfortable for long trips.
