Battery of Apple’s new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max leaked, know which model will get more power

There are still a few months left for the launch of Apple’s next iPhone 18 series, but before that new information related to the phone has started coming out. According to recent reports, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have been spotted on China’s 3C (China Compulsory Certification) website. This listing has revealed the potential battery capacity of both the phones. It has also been told in the report that there may be a difference in the battery of the models sold in America and other countries.

According to the leaked 3C listing, the China model of iPhone 18 Pro can have a 4,056mAh battery, while the variant sold in America is expected to have a 4,288mAh battery.

If this information proves to be correct, then it will be a mild upgrade over the previous iPhone 17 Pro. According to the report, the iPhone 17 Pro had a 3,988mAh battery in the Chinese model and 4,252mAh battery in the American model.

Big upgrade to Pro Max

According to the report, a bigger battery can be seen in iPhone 18 Pro Max this time.

Potential Battery Capacity:

• China Model: 5,391mAh
• US model: 5,567mAh

In comparison, iPhone 17 Pro Max was said to have 4,823mAh battery in China and 5,088mAh battery in America. This means that this time a good increase in battery capacity can be seen in the Pro Max model.

Why is the battery different in US and global models?

Apple has been launching iPhones without physical SIM tray in America for the last few years. Only eSIM support is available there. Removing the physical SIM slot saves more space inside the phone, which the company can use to install a bigger battery.

Whereas in other countries including India, physical SIM slot is still provided, hence the battery capacity may be slightly less in these models.

Launching may take place in September

According to reports, Apple can launch iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first foldable iPhone in September this year. There is talk of introducing the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e in early 2027.

However, at present Apple has not officially confirmed this information. Therefore, till the launch, these leaks should be seen only as possible information.
