Is Sanju Samson playing in the England vs India 3rd T20I today?

Sanju Samson has been omitted from India’s playing XI for the third T20I of its five-match series against England in Nottingham on July 7.

The omission comes a day after the right-hander, who was Player of the Tournament in India’s T20 World Cup 2026 win, was left out of the squad for its upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

He was also left out of the side for the second T20I in favour of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, prompting questions about his future in the side.

Sanju played both matches in India’s surprise series defeat against Ireland as well as the first washed-out T20I of this series, but struggled for form in all three.
