SUVs, CVs – Mahindra price increase July 2026
Mahindra & Mahindra is increasing prices across its SUV and Commercial Vehicle portfolio from 10 July, 2026. Average prices for SUVs will rise by 2.7 percent, while the Commercial Vehicle range will see an average increase of 2 percent. Company attributes commodity cost escalation as the primary reason for this pricing revision. Actual increases will differ across individual products.
Revised prices will become applicable from 10 July, 2026. Buyers planning a purchase before that date may continue under prevailing prices, subject to dealer terms and vehicle availability. Product-specific revisions mean every model will not receive an identical increase. Final ex-showroom prices will depend on the respective vehicle variant and applicable revision.

Commodity Costs Behind the Mahindra Price Revision
Commodity cost escalation refers to higher prices paid for materials used during vehicle manufacturing. Materials include steel, aluminium, copper, rubber, plastics, and other industrial inputs. When procurement expenses increase over time, manufacturers periodically adjust vehicle prices to absorb a portion of the additional production cost.
Manufacturing costs include expenses beyond raw materials. Transportation, supplier sourcing, energy consumption, and factory operations contribute to overall cost of production. Any increase across these areas do influence pricing decisions. Manufacturers generally evaluate multiple cost components before implementing product-wise price revisions across their portfolios.

Prices Depend on the Selected Variant
Vehicle manufacturers periodically revise prices when production expenses change over extended periods. Commodity prices often fluctuate because of supply conditions, industrial demand, and broader economic factors. Cost adjustments help manufacturers respond to changing input expenses. Product-wise implementation also allows companies to account for differences in manufacturing costs across individual vehicle lines. Buyers seeking exact pricing will need to check the revised ex-showroom price applicable to their selected model and variant from 10 July, 2026.
Company Announcement : ‘Mahindra and Mahindra today announced an average price increase of 2.7 percent on its SUVs and 2 percent for its Commercial Vehicle (CV) range effective July 10, 2026.
