Redmi is going to launch its new Redmi Note 17 smartphone in China on July 14. Before the launch, the company has confirmed many big features related to the phone. Redmi has said that Note 17 will have the largest 7-inch OLED display till date. Apart from this, a large 8,000mAh battery, 50MP camera and new Meteor Purple color option will also be seen in the phone.

According to the company, both Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro will come with a bigger battery this time and will try to create a new identity in the mid-range segment.

Confirmed features of Redmi Note 17

Redmi Note 17 will have a 7-inch OLED display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits global peak brightness. The company claims that this will be the largest screen of the Redmi Note series so far. Many eye-protection features will also be provided in the display, which will have less impact on the eyes during prolonged use.

The phone will be provided with an 8,000mAh battery, which will support 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. This means that if needed, other devices can also be charged through it.

For photography, Redmi has also confirmed a 50MP primary rear camera. The new Meteor Purple color variant will come with a textured back panel, the design of which is said to be inspired by the streaks of meteors seen in the night sky.

According to the recent benchmark listing, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor can be found in Redmi Note 17. Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset is expected to be provided in Redmi Note 17 Pro.
