India beats Zimbabwe by 35 runs in 3rd T20 to sweep series

India defended 192 runs and beat Zimbabwe by 35 runs at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday to clinch the three-match T20I series 3-0.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi notched up his second T20I half century and smashed 81 runs off just 49 balls. Rinku Singh added 25 off 14 in the closing phase to get India to a commanding 192 for five.

In response, Zimbabwe could only get to 157 for seven after its quota of 20 overs. Yash Thakur and Mayank Yadav nabbed two and three wickets respectively and the contest could have been wrapped up much earlier had Ryan Burl not come up with a rearguard fifty.
