Till now only chat facility was available on WhatsApp Web, but now you will be able to make audio and video calls from the browser itself.

-Waiting Room feature will be available in group calls

Now you will be able to control who joins the group call and when. If you turn on the ‘Require approval to join’ option while creating a call link, then whoever joins the link will be in the waiting room first. He will be able to join the call only after getting your approval.

-HD video will be available as soon as the call starts

WhatsApp has also improved the quality of video calls. Now with the help of Quick HD feature, HD video quality will be available within a few seconds of the call starting. Earlier it took some time for better quality to arrive.
