The opener, who top scored in the recent ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, suffered the injury during the narrow defeat against Southern Brave on Monday in which she scored 52 not out.
Following a scan and assessment by England’s medical team it has been confirmed that she will miss MI London’s remaining matches in The Hundred.
Further updates on her likely return to play will be communicated in due course after a period of rest and rehabilitation.
She has scored 93 runs from three innings at an average of 46.50 and strike-rate of 132.85. MI London has had a tough tournament, and sits at the bottom of the table with two points in four matches.
USA international Ella Claridge has been named as her replacement.
