The Punjab Kings all-rounder alleged that CSCS officials disrespected him which prompted him to make the switch.
Shashank said he did not get support from the association through a shoulder injury suffered during the Ranji Trophy last season. He added that he was unfairly excluded from the Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League this year.
The 34-year-old has played 24 First-Class, 31 List A and 42 T20s for Chhattisgarh. However, due to a slew of injuries lately, Shashank will play on white-ball formats for Pondicherry.
