The tenth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) will get underway in Dindigul on Tuesday, with defending champion IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans taking on last season’s finalist Dindigul Dragons.
A total of eight franchises will play 32 games in the season before the top teams battle it out in the Playoffs to be crowned champion.
There have been some changes in the leadership of the participating teams this season. Here is the list of captains who will lead the franchises out onto the field in the 2026 edition:
- Baba Indrajith – Dindigul Dragons
- J. Suresh Kumar – Trichy Grand Cholas
- R. Sai Kishore – Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans
- R. Sonu Yadav – Nellai Royal Kings
- S. Abhishiek – Salem Spartans
- M. Shah Rukh Khan – Vida Kovai Kings
- B. Anirudh Sita Ram – Madurai Panthers
- N. Jagadeesan – Chepauk Super Gillies
