The six SA20 franchises have locked in the bulk of their squads ahead of the Season 5 auction, with international stars Mitchell Marsh, Joe Root, Sam Curran, Jason Holder and Phil Salt among the marquee additions. Durban’s Super Giants and Paarl Royals are the only franchises to complete their 19-player squads, while the remaining four teams still have vacancies to fill at the October 7 auction. In all, 19 roster spots remain across the league, setting up another busy auction as franchises look to strengthen their title ambitions ahead of the new SA20 season.
