Ishan Kishan on Monday notched up a double century during the Duleep Trophy final between East Zone and South Zone in Chennai.

He retired hurt on 250 runs but returned in the final session, sitting on the verge of putting the highest score in Duleep Trophy history. Only two batters — Raman Lamba and Gagan Khoda — have managed triple centuries in the tournament.
