This will be Bangladesh’s first bilateral tour down under in nearly two decades. While the last ODI series was in 2008, the Bangla Tigers played a Test match in Australia back in 2003.

Bangladesh has never won a bilateral match in Australia: it has so far played two Tests and six ODIs.

Overall, Bangladesh and Australia have played three bilateral Test series with the latter touring twice to the subcontinent nation.

The last time the two sides played a Test was in 2017 in Bangladesh. It was the first time Bangladesh won a Test match against Australia; the series ended in 1-1 draw.
