What is Australia’s Test record in Darwin?

Australia will return to Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin to play Test cricket after 22 years when it hosts Bangladesh in the first Test starting Thursday.

The last time Australia played a Test match in Darwin was in 2004 against Sri Lanka where it beatingst the visiting side by 149 runs.

Incidentally, the first Test played at the venue was also against Bangladesh in 2003, which was also the last time Bangla Tigers toured down under for the red-ball format.

In total, Australia has played two Tests, four ODIs, and two T20Is in Darwin. The home team has won all Tests and ODI games and one T20I at the venue. The only less came against South Africa in a T20I in 2025.
