Content creator, actor, and author Prajakta Koli recently opened up about the whirlwind year she has had, admitting—quite candidly—that her wedding photos ended up going more viral than years of professional work. Prajakta was speaking during an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama at the BH OTT India Fest, as part of the session titled The Icon of Youngistaan: Journey & Destination.

While assuring fans that she does intend to bring the format back, she confessed that the past year has been unusually hectic, leaving her struggling to keep up with everything at once.

“I want to say very soon, but I’ve said that so many times that I internally cringe when I say it now,” Prajakta said with a laugh, adding that she is actively working on bringing the videos back. She then went on to list the series of major life and professional milestones that filled her calendar this year.

The year began with the release of her book, followed by her wedding—an event she jokingly described as her most “efficient” achievement in terms of social media reach. “Apparently, getting married is the most efficient thing I have done according to social media numbers,” she said. “When my team and I sat down and saw the numbers, I said, ‘Itne saal mein itna kaam kiya, the one thing to go viral and blow up was my wedding pictures.’”

Beyond the wedding buzz, Prajakta shared that she went on to shoot Single Papa and travelled extensively, all of which contributed to what she described as a slightly chaotic headspace. “So I’ve just been a little chaotic in my head,” she admitted honestly.

Reflecting on how marriage has changed her life, Prajakta clarified that the decision itself wasn’t sudden. Having been with her husband for 14 years, marriage was always on the cards. “It’s not like we suddenly got married and were shocked. We always knew we would,” she explained.

However, she noted that the biggest shift came from moving out of her parents’ house and beginning a new phase of life with her husband—something they had never done before. “I think the biggest change has been moving out of my parents’ house and living with him, because that we never did,” she shared, adding that the transition has been positive and grounding.
