Hyundai Motor signs ICC Premier Partner deal for six men’s and women’s tournaments


Hyundai Motor Company, on Tuesday, signed a global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to become a Premier Partner for six major ICC tournaments scheduled across 2026 and 2027.Under the agreement, Hyundai Motor will receive exclusive commercial rights across the ICC’s international tournament calendar, including the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. These rights include involvement in matchday moments such as the coin toss, in-stadium branding, and customised fan engagement initiatives.
Hyundai Motor’s global subsidiaries will collaborate to use the partnership for brand-building activities and to deliver fan experiences across multiple markets.

In key markets like India, where cricket is a way of life, this partnership deepens our connection with the customers and communities who inspire everything we do.”ICC Chairman Jay Shah said the partnership would help enhance fan engagement during marquee events. “Cricket is among the world’s most popular sports, with over two billion fans whose passion is especially evident during ICC’s marquee events… We welcome Hyundai as a Premier Partner and look forward to delivering outstanding events together,” he said.

The agreement marks Hyundai Motor’s return to ICC events after its earlier association with the governing body between 2011 and 2015. Fans attending ICC tournaments will see Hyundai-branded interactive fan zones, vehicle displays and digital engagement initiatives across venues.

The partnership covers ICC tournaments played across multiple formats and hosted in major cricket-playing nations, reinforcing Hyundai Motor’s focus on cricket as a key pillar of its global sports engagement.

The partnership was announced at a ceremony held at the Narendra Modi Stadium, attended by senior representatives from Hyundai Motor and the ICC.
