Hyundai Motor’s global subsidiaries will collaborate to use the partnership for brand-building activities and to deliver fan experiences across multiple markets.
José Muñoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, said, “We are honored to partner with the ICC and connect with over two billion passionate fans worldwide. In key markets like India, where cricket is a way of life, this partnership deepens our connection with the customers and communities who inspire everything we do.”ICC Chairman Jay Shah said the partnership would help enhance fan engagement during marquee events. “Cricket is among the world’s most popular sports, with over two billion fans whose passion is especially evident during ICC’s marquee events… We welcome Hyundai as a Premier Partner and look forward to delivering outstanding events together,” he said.
The agreement marks Hyundai Motor’s return to ICC events after its earlier association with the governing body between 2011 and 2015. Fans attending ICC tournaments will see Hyundai-branded interactive fan zones, vehicle displays and digital engagement initiatives across venues.
