Karnataka completes second-highest chase in List-A cricket against Jharkhand


Karnataka completed the second-highest chase in the history of List-A cricket as it chased down 413 against Jharkhand at the Narendra Modi Stadium Ground B in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

Having been set an imposing target on the back of a 33-ball century from Jharkhand skipper Ishan Kishan, Karnataka chased down its target with 15 balls left to spare.

Devdutt Padikkal was the star of the chase, striking 147 from 118 deliveries with 10 fours and seven sixes. Mayank Agarwal and Abhinav Manohar both struck half-centuries, while Dhruv Prabhakar struck an unbeaten 40 on List-A debut.

The highest chase in List-A cricket remains South Africa’s chase of 435 against Australia in Johannesburg in 2005.
