Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26: Pacer Rajesh Mohanty becomes first-ever Odisha bowler to pick a hat-trick in List A cricket

Odisha pacer Rajesh Mohanty claimed a hat-trick during his side’s Elite phase match against Services at Alur Cricket Stadium III in Bengaluru on Friday.

Playing his 39th List A game, the 25-year-old struck in the seventh over after Odisha won the toss and elected to field, dismissing opener Sagar Dahiya.

He then trapped Amit Shukla and Ravi Chauhan leg-before to complete the hat-trick and leave Services reeling at 21 for 3.

Mohanty, the first bowler from Odisha to take a hat-trick in List A cricket, finished with figures of 25 for 4 as Services could only manage a total of 83.
