The film opened with a formidable first Friday collection of Rs. 28.60 crore, immediately establishing itself as a major theatrical draw. Rather than following the usual trajectory of decline in the second week, Dhurandhar registered a remarkable jump on its second Friday, collecting Rs. 34.70 crore. That translates to a surge of approximately 21 per cent over its first Friday, an almost unheard-of trend for a mainstream Hindi release. This spike underlined the film’s explosive word-of-mouth and growing demand, signalling that the initial audience response was converting into wider theatrical momentum.

By the third Friday, collections stood at Rs. 23.70 crore. While this marked a drop of roughly 31.7 per cent compared to the second Friday, the number remains extraordinary in absolute terms. Even in its third week, Dhurandhar was delivering figures that many big releases struggle to achieve in their opening weekend. Importantly, the third Friday still performed only about 17 per cent lower than the first Friday, highlighting how well the film had held its ground deep into its run.

The fourth Friday brought in Rs. 16.70 crore, reflecting a decline of around 29.5 per cent from the third Friday. Viewed in isolation, the drop appears natural and expected given the film’s stage in its theatrical lifecycle. However, in a broader context, this figure stands out sharply. At this point in its run, Dhurandhar was still managing over half nearly 58 per cent of its first Friday collections, a retention rate that underscores its exceptional staying power.

Taken together, Dhurandhar’s Friday trajectory paints the picture of a film that did not rely solely on a strong start, but actively built momentum, peaked, and then settled into a controlled, high-value decline. The second Friday’s 1.21x jump over the first Friday remains the standout moment, but it is the consistency across subsequent Fridays that truly defines the film’s box office dominance.
