Tilak will captain the side against Chandigarh and will also feature in the following match against Bengal on January 6. Siraj is expected to be available for selection against Jammu and Kashmir on January 8 as well.
Siraj was part of the Hyderabad team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025 and picked seven wickets in four matches in the team’s run to the Super League stage.

Tilak has played a solitary match for Hyderabad this season, turning out against Delhi in the Ranji Trophy 2025 encounter in Hyderabad. He has since been part of the Indian T20I and ODI squads for the series against South Africa. Both Tilak and Siraj are expected to feature in the Indian squads for the limited-overs series against New Zealand starting on January 11.
The addition of the two internationals will come as a welcome boost to the Hyderabad team that has failed to win its first four Group B encounters in Rajkot. However, the team’s chances of making the quarterfinal have been extinguished – even three wins from the remaining three encounters in the group stage will not help them finish among the top two teams.
Hyderabad’s encounter against Bengal on January 6 will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium and will be available for streaming on the JioHotstar app and website.
